As always I make my drawings and paintings in mixed  techniques. I experiment with charcoal, tempera and some pigments, depicting impressive situations or strong actions. I like making expressionistic images.

Insects
In my recent work the subject is insects. I see that they live in an empire that expands .. still and still .. it never stops, the insects fight for domination: it is all about survival, concurrency, destruction and dead.

Portraits
In 2022 Marianne Franklin, prof. at the Universiteit Groningen, asked me to illustrate her book, ‘Change the Record – Punk Women Music Politics’, with the portraits of those women. It was a challenge to come close to their personalities and energy. While I studied at the ‘École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts’ in Paris I learned to paint classical portraits in a private atelier with a group of painters. After that I followed my own way and turned to abstract. And although I started to draw the portraits of the Punk Women in an abstract way they became soon more figurative.

Nudes
Once, back in 2014, I depicted male erotics. That year those nudes were showed during the Canal Pride ‘14. The works are a combination of drawing and painting. Here, on show again, they clearly expose my style.
